  In the surprising and polychrome sound labyrinth in which Mezz and his schoolchildren venture, Kinderheim reveals itself just like a poster-album: it is a fifth LP that has the ability to present itself as a "new debut" and because it was realized for the first time in the Zeit Studio, both because it brings together different sensitivities finally united in a large and coherent artistic project. To quote the progressive and avant-rock so loved by Mezz, the Self-Standing Ovation Boskàuz Ensemble can remember a sort of "Centipede 2.0", of which Mezzatesta is the author and director: «the reborn SSOBE is a perfect combination of Rock / Folk / Pop band mixed with a chamber sextet, to be able to give vent to even the most contrived solutions of my writing, but also potentially to the service of other writings "compatible in freedom". The leitmotif of this work lies in the thought, in the compositional cells (or if we prefer 'modules') within each of the compositions, which even if written over many years - some pieces date back to 1993 - have a sort of DNA in common ».
